Why is
this show so damn special?
Our "YEAR'S
END BASH"
has taken on a life of it's own in the last few years.
It's become our Rock
n Roll Christmas Party.
Rock n' roll abandon, and
Party Till Ya Drop,
would best describe
the vibe. Kind of like an office Xmas party,
only louder and more fun.
The BASH is the one gig out of the
year, where the audience entertains us,
almost as much as we entertain them.
During one "Year's
End Bash," two of our most beautiful fans (who also happen
to be
exotic dancers) started stripping on the
dance floor while we were playing
"Getting Ready for The Kill," and then jumped up on
stage to finish their fun. The
the women in the audience enjoyed the visual aid as much as the
men did, and
the Snakes didn't mind too much either.
At another
"Year's End Bash," we were treated to the sight of
a very
hot cave women who was clad in just a wisp
of leopard skin. She danced wildly,
leaping on and off the stage while wielding a three foot long
plastic dinosaur bone.
I couldn't make this stuff up if I'd wanted to.
There are
always fun surprises at our "Year's
End Bash,"
but the party directly following the
show (Right there
at Molly Malone's) is where the the BASH really earns it's name. The last show
of the year always seems to bring out the craziest, the most
fun, the most loving, and the most wild
fans a band could ask for. To top it off, friends I haven't seen
for years always seem to pop up out of
nowhere on these nights... it's magic.
If you don't get high from the love
and music at this
show, tell me,
and I'll eat my hat... or maybe your hat? I'm usually hungry
after a show anyway.
